INT. MINNECINEMA - MIFF OFFICIAL RULES

 

This fesitval is an opportunity to showcase your film to a larger audience and gain more recognition since it's a campus-wide festival. There are no time limits. No genre expectation. No prizes (but ask us again next year, because we might add prizes to spice things up).  Yeah, it's that easy! Don't believe us? Well, read the following and see if you qualify:

 

1. Must be a student attending the University of Minnesota -Twin Cities (in either undergraduate or graduate programs). 

 

2. In order for your film to be screened, you must submit your film by the *April 15, 2017 deadline. 

 

3. All films submitted by the deadline will be screened at the Best Buy Theatre in Nortrhop on April 21, 2017.

 

4. Your film does not have to be one you made this 2015 Spring Semester (we get it. Two months may not be long enough). You can submit a previously made film from as late as the summer before your freshman year. It just has to be your film. No one else's. 

 

5. You should probably like movies... but that's just our humble opinion. If you hate movie and want to enter the festival, that is cool with us too.
